Frequently Asked Questions
Facials
-
Arrive with Clean Skin: Gently cleanse your face before your appointment to remove any makeup, dirt, or oils. If you can’t cleanse beforehand, don’t worry — we’ll take care of that during your session.
Avoid Heavy Exfoliation: For 48 hours before your facial, avoid scrubbing or using strong exfoliating products, as this can make your skin more sensitive.
Skip the Sun: If possible, avoid sun exposure or tanning beds a few days before your facial. This helps prevent irritation, especially if you’ll be getting extractions or using products that might make your skin more sensitive.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before your appointment to keep your skin hydrated. Well-hydrated skin will respond better to the treatment!
Discuss Your Skin Concerns: If you have specific skin concerns (acne, dryness, sensitivity, etc.), let your esthetician know so we can tailor the facial to meet your needs.

Proper aftercare helps you maintain your glow and get the best results from your facial. Here’s what we recommend:
Avoid Touching Your Face: Your skin may be more sensitive after a facial, so try to avoid touching or picking at it to prevent irritation or breakouts.
Skip Makeup (If Possible): Give your skin time to breathe for at least 24 hours after your facial. If you must wear makeup, keep it light and non-comedogenic.
Stay Out of the Sun: Your skin will be more vulnerable after treatment, so avoid direct sun exposure and always apply SPF if you’ll be outdoors.
Avoid Heat & Intense Workouts: Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and heavy exercise for 24–48 hours to prevent redness and irritation.
Follow a Gentle Skincare Routine: Stick to mild cleansers and hydrating products for a few days. Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, or harsh active ingredients unless advised otherwise.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to support your skin’s healing and enhance your post-facial glow.
Following these tips will help your skin stay calm, balanced, and radiant long after your appointment.

Facials are more than just a luxury — they’re an essential part of maintaining healthy, glowing skin. Here’s why you might want to treat yourself to a facial:
Deep Cleansing: Facials help remove dirt, oil, and impurities that regular skincare routines might miss. This deep cleansing unclogs pores, reduces breakouts, and keeps your skin looking fresh.
Targeted Treatments: Whether you’re dealing with acne, signs of aging, or dryness, facials are customized to address your specific skin concerns with professional-grade products and techniques.
Exfoliation: Regular facials provide gentle exfoliation that removes dead skin cells, leaving your complexion smoother, brighter, and more even-toned.
Boosts Circulation: The facial massage helps improve blood flow to your skin, delivering oxygen and nutrients for a radiant, healthy glow.
Stress Relief: Facials aren’t just great for your skin — they’re also incredibly relaxing. Taking time for self-care can help reduce stress and leave you feeling rejuvenated.
A regular facial can improve the overall health and appearance of your skin, helping you look and feel your best. It's a great investment in your skin's long-term health!
Other Services
-
Brow and lash treatments can last from 4-6 weeks, depending on the service. Lash lifts and brow laminations can be done every six weeks; however, you may start to see changes in the way your eyelashes/eyebrows look around the four-week mark, as this is when your lashes begin to fall out, and you will see new ones come in.
-
Threading is a precise, all-natural hair removal technique that uses a thin cotton thread to gently lift and remove unwanted hair from the root. The thread is twisted and rolled over the skin, trapping hairs and pulling them out in clean, defined lines.
This method is especially popular for shaping eyebrows and removing facial hair because it allows for exceptional accuracy without the use of wax, chemicals, or heat. Threading is ideal for sensitive skin and can help reduce irritation, redness, and breakouts compared to other hair removal methods.
Results typically last several weeks, leaving the skin smooth, clean, and beautifully defined.
-
Sugaring is an eco-friendly, natural method of hair removal with a slightly different technique than waxing, removing hair in the same direction of hair growth. It is a paste made of lemon juice, water, and sugar making it a preferred option for those with allergies, sensitive skin and it is applied warm rather than hot.
On the other hand, waxing is a resin-based product that is removed against the hair growth and comes with more risks i.e. skin lifting, burn risk due to being applied at a high temperature and in general can be more irritating to those with sensitive skin.
Both are great options depending on many variables that are entirely variable to the individual.
-
You can get waxed while on your menstrual cycle, you do not need to reschedule unless you feel more comfortable doing so. The only real reason to do so is personal comfort, some people can feel more crampy and sensitive.
-
For bikini or Brazilian waxing services, we ask that clients use a tampon or menstrual cup during their appointment. Pads are not compatible with waxing services.
